He got his BSc in
1987 and PhD in 1996 from East China University of Science and
Technology. In 1995 he stayed in the Department of Chemical Engineering
of University of Virginia as a visiting student and in 2002 he stayed in
LAGEP of University of Lyon 1 as a visiting professor. He became an
associate professor in 1997 and a full professor in 2002 in ECUST. He
served as the depute director of the State-Key Laboratory of Chemical
Engineering at ECUST since 2004 and the director since 2010.
His doctoral dissertation was elected as the Outstanding Doctoral
Dissertation by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of China in 1999. Also
in 1999 he was awarded as the Outstanding Young Teacher of Shanghai. He
was entitled as Dawn Scholar of Shanghai by the Education Commission of
Shanghai in 2001, Elitist of the New Century by the MOE in 2005, and
Lading Talent of Shanghai in 2018. He won the second prize for
Scientific and Technological Progress by Sinopec in 2009, and the second
award for Natural Science by the Ministry of Education of China.
His research covers catalysis and reaction engineering, microreactor
technology and industrial crystallization. He has coauthored 300 peer
reviewed papers, among which 200 were published in international
journals. He is a member of the Asian-Pacific Working Party of Reaction
Engineering, member of the steering committee of ACTS, and member of the
Standing committee of ICCK. Also he serves as member of the editorial
board of Chemical Engineering Journal, Chinese Journal of Chemical
Engineering, Journal of Chemical Reaction Engineering and Technology,
and Journal of Chemical Engineering of Chinese Universities. |
